It would have been my choice, but unfortunately there doesn't seem to have any kind of animations, which for me is quite bad (it's basically a combat log chat window, pretty much). xCT+ - by far the most lightweight in terms of resource usage (it's like 20 times lower on CPU usage vs MSBT). Update status: always up to date, very frequent updatesģ. Also in terms of text coloring, it's different than MSBT so I will have to get used to it (Parrot uses same color for an entire line of text, while MSBT was using different colors for different words or values in that line of text). Found it to offer plenty of customization, but despite offering several animation styles, I've yet to find one similar to MSBT's. Which is still high overall, but ofcourse, half than MSBT means it's better. Parrot 2 - very customizable, from my measurements, the processor usage is half of the MSBT's.

Personally I've been using this for years and I'm sad that I have to replace it now due to being so bad on resource usage now.Ģ. I want to clean up my screen and go back to good old floating combat text, but I don't like the font.

I'll be honest, I don't find scrolling text useful and well, I'm starting to feel like it's just noise. In Legion is plagued with absurdly high processor usage due to the lack of updates/fixes from the author. I stopped using Mik before Legion and switched to Parrot 2 through Legion. MSBT - very customizable, was the go to choice. From my testing (now in Legion), I'd describe these top 3 SCT addons as follows:ġ. Few months old reply, but found this via Google search.
